Played a few more demos with this time being focused on some strategy titles. I enjoyed playing all three, but my favorite was definitely #afterinc. Loved Rebel Inc and it seems that After Inc will be just as good.

Set the agenda in the Requisition Screen.
When war is on your doorstep, what strategies will you invest in? You only have so much time and so many resources...
Try it out yourself in The Siege of Jeomdo demo (link in replies!) #SteamNextFest
In the first set of demos played, I covered a genre I normally don't play too often. Check out my thoughts on a few narrative adventures! With a special shoutout to my friends at @StudioHipSword!

Thanks so much for all the reviews and feedback on our #SteamNextFest demo thus far!
Every bit of feedback helps us make The Siege of Jeomdo a better game, so please keep it coming!
Great taste in birds, btw. That pudgy legend was designed by none other than @akbeeegle!

Lately, I've been playing Cattle Country, a farming sim set in the American frontier. It definitely has its own charm and clearly a lot of love was put in by the devs, @castlepixel!

@nostalgicrealms Once again, I find myself on the same wavelength as you. I've been meaning to do the same with stuff around Kyoto (where I live in Japan!). Been wanting to draw pixel art Kyoto Tower for the longest time. Think seeing this post will be the catalyst to get that done.
@nostalgicrealms It looks great! Honestly, this is something that I've been thinking I need to do with my own pixel art. I think some of my stuff looks really noisy and I just need to trim things back. Makes it a bit more manageable too I think.
@nostalgicrealms Was introduced to Lair by Oliver and was immediately interested in the concept and the art (you're pixel art is amazing!). Also, being a fellow Japan expat helps as well haha. Looking forward to seeing the game's progress in 2025! あけましておめでとう!
@nostalgicrealms@DennerRand Personally, I'd like it to go even further and show all the selections available off to the side. Cycling through them is alright if there's not that many but it becomes really annoying when there's a ton of options like character creators in Terraria or Stardew Valley.
Man, it's already the end of the year? Well, here's my take on the last #HumbleChoice bundle for 2024. Not that bad. Hope everyone has a good holiday!

Recently, I received a pre-release copy of @NewArcLine, which just released in early access. Overall, it was a fun time and I appreciated something different. Check out my review for my full thoughts. Great work to the devs and good luck going forward!

@nostalgicrealms Both are cool...but I prefer the top down look. I think because it's visually consistent to walking around the overworld. Plus, I feel you can add more depth with the top-down look rather than a side view.
Had a lot of fun playing this during #steamnextfest . A bit late with getting the video finished but here are my thoughts! Really loved the style of the game in both its art and gameplay. Good luck with the launch early next year, @TSOMgame!

@toys_retro I remember ours broke during an episode of Full House when I was 8 or 9. Didn't end up getting another TV until a few years later only because my dad wanted to watch the coverage of 9/11. But it sat around much longer than that because the thing was unmovable.
