@TomTugendhat Tom have you hallucinated the existence of a socialist government? I would have thought your personal politics would be identical to Keir Starmer's.
@blazey2004 @ElectionMapsUK Keir Starmer is awful and his Labour party is barely different from the Tories. But this bill ever so slightly makes things easier for terminally ill people. But it still demands a lot of work from them. What's the issue unless you have religious reasons for opposing it?
@LouiseS11293637@ElectionMapsUK It's a slightly better day for terminally ill people, and a completely neutral day for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled and poor. And I'm like 3 of those things. This bill does not affect me unless I become terminally ill.
@Mark_E_Noonan@ElectionMapsUK How is it savagery to pass a bill making it legal for terminally ill people to end their life on their own times by completing a number of lengthy and complicated processes and having two doctors and a judge approve of it before it can occur?
@4721_Archer@KThor21@ElectionMapsUK It's specifically part of the bill that the patient must administer the medication themselves. A doctor is only present to check on them. This is -after- they've had to jump through a hundred complicated hoops just to try and die on their own terms. The bill doesn't go far enough
@SkyNews I could not care any less about seeing smiling photos of Israeli murderers. It's completely insane that the British media is trying to rehabilitate the IDF while they're actively killing innocent people.
@BrightRadley @chaufeIton I went to middle school (twice) in the UK. Wiltshire still had middle schools until the late 00's when they were scrapped and closed.
