While AI and large language models (LLMs) can be incredibly helpful in your day-to-day life, it’s just as important to use them safely and securely. 🤖

We’ve put together a few quick tips to help you get the most out of AI, without letting convenience overshadow security.

🔹 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐬. AI can hallucinate (produce false information), show bias, or mishandle your data. Adversaries can also weaponize #AI - think deepfakes and social engineering.

🔹𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. Avoid sharing sensitive information with #LLMs, always fact-check outputs, and use available privacy and security settings. Remember: AI is a powerful but imperfect tool, so don’t over-rely on it.

🔹 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐬. Be cautious when AI seems overly confident but inaccurate, behaves unpredictably, requests private information, shares content without your consent, or has unclear privacy settings.

AI is absolutely here to stay, but a little discretion and awareness go a long way in staying safe online.
