@BethRigby We operate in a parliamentary democracy, not a presidential democracy. Your piece fails to acknowledge this and the last few (admittedly awful) weeks have proven this in the most profound way.
@hillsidefarmers@RSdriver00 Touring has the stronger (Gen 2) engine, but in all other respects I prefer the R - the single mass flywheel makes the drivetrain feel even more special; the softer suspension allows the car to breathe with the road better; and there is much less sound deadening. R wins for me.
@MunichLegends@RSdriver00 Love my CRT. Engine is jewel-like and it has a lovely, absorbent ride - so different from today’s brittle cars. I’ve owned E30 M3s, E36 and two CSLs. The CRT is my favourite. It was brilliant to compare to the equally wonderful Black Series.
@RSdriver00@eagleetypes Looks fantastic. Congratulations. Your co owner sent me a pic of collection today - two smiling faces! And classy to collect in the Project 8😀
@RSdriver00 Entirely agree. I have commuted in a few times and have to leave so early to avoid near gridlock at crunch points. Crackers whilst there is still social distancing on public transport.
@Chopperyorks @tommallett911 My average CGT bills per annum are about £5k - some years £2k and every 4 year engine out around £10k. This is keeping the car in 100% condition at all times - so some elective work that wasn’t strictly needed. Overall pretty reasonable for such a sensational car!
