What’s wrong with some people?
This armed dirt bike rider literally jumps on the back window of this young mother’s car, where her young children were sitting in the backseat.
This happened after the dirt biker allegedly hit the side of her car. After the accident both parties got into an argument which led to the man pointing a weapon at her and stomping on her back window before dropping a gun that he was carrying with him, and then head-butting the woman.
Why do people escalate things this far?

Ajike Owens’ children were playing in a field near an apartment complex when a white woman yelled racial slurs at them and said to get off her land.
The children left behind an iPad which she stole. When one of the children came back to retrieve it she threw it at him and hit him with it.
Owens knocked on the woman’s door and without even opening it she shot through the door, killing Ms. Owens.
If you haven't heard about "Joaquin's First School Shooting" I urge you to please watch the video below.
This book was written by a woman named Patricia Oliver. Oliver lost her 17-year-old son Joaquin Oliver in the Parkland Florida school shooting in 2018.
Joaquin had told his parents before his passing that he wanted to make a difference in the world. His story can make that difference.
We need to get together as a nation, to at least try and do something to stop what's happening. We can work together and come up with solutions which do not abridge the Second Amendment, but also don't allow our young children to continue to be put in harms way because of a lack of willingness to compromise.

Thoughts?
Former President Obama just summed up the Gun debate in under a minute:
"I think somehow — and there are a lot of historical reasons for this — gun ownership in this country became an ideological issue, and a partisan issue, in ways that it shouldn't be. It has become sort of a proxy for arguments about our culture wars, you know? Urban versus rural. Race is always an element in these issues. Issues of class and education, and so forth.
Instead of just taking a very practical approach, like we do, let's say, for example, with car safety, where we say, 'All right, we got a bunch of accidents. Let's have seat belts. And let's make cars safer. And let's engineer our roads so that we prevent them. Instead of thinking about it in a very pragmatic way, we end up really arguing about identity, and emotion, and all kinds of stuff that does not have to do with keeping our children safe."
I'd love to hear both sides of the political spectrum weigh in on this clip.

Well done transphobes. You've got what you wanted. A cisgender disabled lesbian being bullied & ushered into the gents toilets for the crime of looking insufficiently feminine. Good job. https://t.co/fjWwYpxci5
Today is my baby’s 5th birthday and he would love nothing more than a birthday shout out from his favorite Ghostbusters @dan_aykroyd and @MckennaGraceful I know it’s a shot in the dark, but hey, he is worth it!
We should not have to live in fear of gun violence, whether it’s at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, while grocery shopping in Buffalo, New York, or while celebrating our kids’ graduations across the country.
We #WearOrange because we know we CAN #EndGunViolence.
