Hello @Delta, I’m extremely disappointed: my 7-year-old son and I were assigned seats apart on our 11-hr FCO–ATL flight. Our bookings (GWPXCC / GWXCNX) were linked, and I’m a Platinum Medallion, my son is Gold. It’s unacceptable for a child to be seated away from his parent.
@Delta As I said the bags were tagged. When the operator went to print the boarding passes the flight was closed. Which to me doesn’t make sense. If the operation under the same confirmation reference # is initiated (bags tagged) then the system should allow to complete it.
@Delta To see his grandma I would have expected a little flexibility. Also cos I could have just checked in on line and I wouldn’t be here on a taxi back home spending more than $200 back and forth for nothing
@Delta She tried to call the gate but nobody picked up. Then another lady in a red jacket came and was finally able to speak to Mr Brian at gate B26 and he said no they can’t board. It’s not the end of the world, but for less than a minute late (the bags were tagged) with a 4 yo going
