@EveSeuntjens I confirm : PhD candidates in Switzerland often get 70% of 3500, so close to 3000CH=2750 euros. Importantly, they have “research assistant” contracts, which means they are eligible for a pension, or can rent a flat without being perceived as a student. Not the case in the UK.
