Why no outrage in 2004 when Will Ferrell and Jon Favreau were not nominated for an Oscar for Elf. Barbie is basically the same movie ( but less enjoyable). The bigger outrage is that anyone was nominated for anything for Barbie. Its a 6.5 or a 7 if you're being generous.
