@Hayelarious The shirt itself is nice. I originally wasn't keen on a gambling company sponsorship. Then, getting ready for the new season I got my Ansell's retro shirt out, and considered the damage alcohol does, and softened my opinion in the light of my own double standards.
@NASAWebb When you say 'dust' do you mean that broadly in the way we understand 'dust' on earth? Of course I don't expect it to be largely human skin or whatever the urban myth is.
@delves1@Taggart4291 Tilton Road closes very early these days. We can just about use the church car park on Cattell Road, but the walk is then quite far because she can't do steps. I know it is tricky.
@Taggart4291@delves1 Back for more. Inner city stadium, plenty of cars, no parking. Send wardens out on a Sunday. Actually, we have been caught twice this season.
@Taggart4291@delves1 We had a ticket parking on the middle ground in Garrison Lane during the Sheffield U game. The nice touch was putting the ticket next to my Mum's blue badge. Easy money.
@_PeterBCFC@samcm14@alexedicken Thanks. My Google AI disagreed, saying the toss winner can choose ends or can have the ball. My last competitive match was 1980, so I don't know, but I reckon we chose to change ends today.
@BradyBCFC10@alexedicken Been asking this myself. I assume we chose ends. On the basis that I didn't go to Plymouth, the yardstick of allowable opinions, I will, however be wrong.
