Thank you to the Molecular Chaperones are Lit 🔥 group for hosting today's September afternoon tea. We heard about the molecular marvels that are your molecular chaperones proteins!
Congratulations to @stem_mitch August Publication of the Month Award winner!
@uowresearch
Thrilled to share the first major publication from my thesis, huge thanks to all who were involved! If you’re interested in neural bioprinting, check out our open access manuscript below 👇
Check this out ! Great work Mitchel and the gang ! Efficient fabrication of 3D bioprinted functional sensory neurons using an inducible Neurogenin-2 human pluripotent stem cell line https://t.co/rBqzbk1G1R via @Biofabrication
Great to see in the news today - there is a LOT of hard work by our amazing staff @UOW and their 100% dedication to students that gives rise to these results!

Touch sensation requires the mechanically gated ion channel ELKIN1 | Science https://t.co/wwfuaIGVsA
Super proud to present our latest work led by Sam @fluorescence_SC , we identified ELKIN1 as necessary for normal touch sensation in mice and in human sensory neurons too!
The lack of funding has so many impacts - promising projects are put on the back burner, highly qualified scientists leave due to lack of job security, innovation is stifled in favour of ‘safe’ research… it breaks my heart. @TheASMR1
Thrilled to share our first publication of the year - a lab resource outlining the generation and characterisation of an H9 cell line with inducible NGN2 expression, highly useful for rapid and efficient neuronal differentiation. Check it out! 👇
