It's finally the last month of the year🥳🥳🥳. Looking back, it's been a year of impact, learning, and fun-filled science activities, even as we look forward to more accomplishments of our goal-MAKING SCIENCE FUN.
Also, we wish our students success in their ongoing examinations.
Superstars from across education and business have been recognised for their incredible commitment to inspiring young people in STEM recently at our Inspiration Awards! 💫
Thank you to @UKRI_News for sponsoring the awards 🤝
When you make your curriculum relevant to the real world, your students begin to see the curriculum in their world.

I love the level of concentration that comes from STEM activities. The air is filled with the click of parts snapping together and the hum of active hands. What activities initiate this level of passion in your classroom?
Today’s quick #STEMstarter challenge: get some copper tape or wire, a battery, an LED, & find out that an electrolyte solution (like sports drinks) complete a circuit 💡
That teaching science takes a lot of intentionalities is what we can't emphasize enough. Interestingly, science isn't far-fetched. It's what we see, do and touch, which makes it easier to learn for our elementary students.
Want to support elementary students to be strong readers, writers, mathematicians, & critical thinkers? Teach science! Less than 35% of PK-5 kids get daily science instruction, even though we know it develops these skills. Read more:

A fun and active STEM workshop that allowed KS5 and KS4 students to code drones. Students discovered how drones are controlled and flew them. @NDEvertonValley
We are extremely grateful for the year we’ve had working hand-in-hand with science teachers in schools to advance experiential learning among students. As we inch closer to the end of the year, we are excited to share photos of some of our activities thus far in 2022.
STEMJets discussing #Ecology with the students of Mary Immaculate Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti, where the students learnt definitions of Ecology, the types of Ecosystem and How to protect the planet Earth.
I feel like this should have been a teaching moment for the boy, especially around boundaries "you don't do that"
If he can do it to her, what stops him from taking it to his other classmates, then a habit of spanking butts is built.
But alas, content must be created
Today, we celebrate authenticity.
Daring to be amazing
Today, we celebrate woman.
Like the tides of a turbulent current,
We will each lend her a voice.
Hold her hands and move in unison,
Sculpting together a vision yet unseen.
