Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting visitors from @BergenCC as part of the exciting U.S.-UK Community College and Technical Education Exchange.

This programme, developed between the @Comm_College, The Cyril Taylor Charitable Foundation, and the UK @AoC_info, aims to promote shared learning in sustainability and green skills, connecting students and educators across the Atlantic.

President Dr. Eric Friedman President and colleagues had a tour of Southport College's grounds and facilities, and took part in some engaging conversations around sustainable construction and green energy.

We're excited for our student exchange programme to launch in September, where a selection of our students will visit Bergen Community College with the aim to strengthen our partnership and collaborate on projects! 👏

A few weeks ago, our Health and Social Care department hosted a graduation party with students from our Access to HE, T-Level Health, and Level 2 H&SC students.

This was to celebrate the end of the academic year and all the hard work they have put into their studies. With some heading off to university, some kickstarting their career in the NHS, and some continuing their studies here at Southport College, we're super proud of them all and what they will achieve in the near future!
