@JanFlinn @Alisonmau Truly terrible. Our society needs to take this seriously and act upon it. It's our culture to blame the victim. It's never ok.

When you start talking at a Mihi Whakatau at the wrong time.#theshameofit.

@JenHNZ11 @lemonwood_grove @ArnikaMac @Cyclonenz Wow....these children looked so engaged. What an amazing opportunity.

@wheeldon_claire ... I feel so fortunate those words have never been uttered at our school.

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@Alisonmau Truly awful. I am so fortunate that this has never happened to me. I have a huge amount of respect for all the brave women who spoke up.

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@WarrioroflightL @itsgabrielleu Bless you beautiful lady. Hugs from New Zealand

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@itsgabrielleu Why is it ok to attack and rape women? What we wear is not the reason...it's a way of blaming the victim not the perpetrator. #itsnotok

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@NZStuff How truly sad for the victim's family. Much love to them at this difficult time.

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@Techbradwaid @ULearnNZ I was moved to tears during your keynote. It was truly inspiring. Travel safe. Arohanui.

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@Alisonmau "If you speak out you will never work in this industry again!" Tactics to silence women and suppress their feelings #speakupbebrave.

[Mel Stenhouse @stenhouse_mel]

@AllBlacks @piriweepu @GettySport It's been a privilege watching your career. You are a humble athlete, and you gave us so many memories to treasure. Arohanui...best wishes.
