“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16
Not: “I will tell of the battles won, or the mighty deeds before the nations.”
But: “…for my soul.” “…for my soul!”
@BethMooreLPM Beth, KEEP ON. What I hear in your words are similar to thoughts I have, which I do my best at arresting (until I can prove them innocent) them as Paul instructs. Also, who can know the heart?, IT IS DESPERATELY WICKED, and are we not carnal first?
@BethMooreLPM Yet, there is that sense that I believe is innate in all creatures. My dog gets it when she is suspicious of someone and the evidence is the hair that shoots up sraight on her back like a porky pine. So, I too, with you, struggle in this regard.
@BethMooreLPM As I read some of these responses all I can think is “Suffering leads to salvation.” I know it is not the message that everyone wants to hear. We get so stuck. God has promised He is with us. He has promised to help. Heaven and earth will pass, but His word will remain.
@JuhlsheartsU Sounds like possible CV axle but it could be something within your suspension such as your control arm. What exactly did you have replaced?
I trust the Bible wholly because, (a) my 50 yrs of studying and practicing it leads me to do so, (b) Jesus wholly trusted it and I trust and love him, and because (c) I can only question the Bible's teaching by using some other standard of truth I am not questioning at the time.
God has really blessed me! Today marks 30 years living with HIV so the message resonated with me in such a tremendous way. I thank the Lord for keeping me, giving me strength, and guiding me for 62 years but especially the last 30. 🙏🏾
