Today, the @USFWS proposes to protect the tricolored bat (𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘺𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘶𝘴) as an #Endangered species. We fully support using the full power of the Endangered Species Act to protect the tricolored bat. Listing this bat as Endangered is critically needed.

Friday the 13th was this brown pelican's lucky day! It was rescued from Blind Pass entangled with fishing line and multiple hooks embedded in its body.
Last week, we admitted this juvenile green sea turtle (#21-1450) after it was found floating and acting lethargic in a Port Charlotte canal.
Veterinarians examined the turtle & found no major signs of injury, but bloodwork done by our vet techs showed signs of severe infection.
EARTH DAY EAGLE RELEASE: We celebrated #EarthDay the best way we know how, returning an animal back to its natural habitat!
This is the adult bald eagle (#21-1499) that was rescued from the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge a couple weeks ago.
