@GeriSoc - missed the Incontinence sig meeting on thursday as on call and trying to watch on demand. No recording for session 2 (Minimally invasive procedures) - any chance this will be uploaded later or was it not recorded? Sounds great so 🤞🤞
Hey @SteveBarclay I dare you to stand up in the House of Commons and tell parliament that we were the ones that cancelled talks.
Do it.
Tell parliament what you’re telling the media.
Do it.

@livia_scott_ It's hard to explain the imposter syndrome you get when your lecturers, the doctors teaching on placements, and your peers are all from a conpletely different league to you. I'm proud of my upbringing but it was hard to not feel different.
@livia_scott_ It was insane. I remember getting asked "where do you normally summer?". I was like bitch pls, I "summered" as a waitress in town to be able to afford this second-hand textbook. Was a riot 😂

Absolutely 💔 RIP Dr Gail Milligan. @NHSEngland How many more will it take before you start taking action to recognise the considerable strain primary care clinicians are under?
Abortion bans violate autonomy and bodily integrity. They also have deeply inequitable effects. Abortion restrictions fall disproportionately on women of colour, those on low incomes or living in rural areas, and those in abusive relationships. https://t.co/j9BNNUGl2C
@AvantiWestCoast all the cancellations obviously not ideal, but have to say all staff at Glasgow Central and on the 14.35 to Euston have been incredibly helpful! Sorry it's been crappy for you guys too!
And half the time they went to that staff room alone because social distancing meant no one could be in there with them because shock horror - ward staff rooms are tiny and not fit for purpose.
Not a single nurse I know went to the staff room after a shift for 'a quiet drink'. They went to the staff room to fucking cry over the sheer volume of patients dying in front of them.
"I don't think at any time he thought he was breaking the law... he thought just like many teachers and nurses who after a very long shift would go back to the staff room and have a quiet drink"

Such a great, simple innovation that shows respect for patients - documenting their preferred name on wristbands @ Worcester NHS
How many times have I tried to rouse a patient calling them a name they don’t go by? 🤦🏻

@JJMaine2019@AshleyGWinter I'm a doctor and am in no way superior a nurse. I welcome the experience of my nursing colleagues who often have years more experience than me. We all have a part to play and should be comfortable discussing things as a team right?
