Unpaid internships violate young people's rights & perpetuate inequalities - they put the achievement of #2030Agenda in jeopardy.

@Youth_Forum has taken legal action to address the issue in Belgium. #ForYouthRights

In our speech before the #CSocD57, we talked about how #ageism intersects with other forms of #discrimination, which means that ending discrimination needs #intersectional approaches. Also, unpaid #internships perpetuate existing #inequalities and should thus be abolished.

EU Member States use minimum income schemes to support most vulnerable populations, says @EU_Social at #CSocD57.

But in some EU countries, young people cannot access schemes because of age. Youth is also the group at greatest risk of poverty and social exclusion. Coincidence?
