In 2018 the “Tier 3” usage rate (the rate the majority of your electric is charged) was $0.29/kwh.
In 2021 and 2022, it was $0.33/kwh.
2026, it is $0.41/kwh.
That means your electric bill rate has jumped 24% in the last four years.
