Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (like Maria’s) are rare and often slower-growing than typical pancreatic cancer. Early detection via imaging dramatically improves outcomes — 5-year survival for localized stage 2 PNETs can exceed 60–90% with surgery.

Today (2026) Maria is cancer-free post-surgery, thriving as a mom and health advocate, and pushing early-detection tools like multi-cancer blood tests.

If Maxx didn’t speak on anything —team officials and BIG media would control the narrative & messaging of the story since they all talk with each other

Raiders had “no comment”
Ravens pushed “concern over MRI”
Media echoed and steered knee concerns

Then everyone else interprets how they want to interpret —and argue over it all

The player usually has no voice and has to “shut up and play”

Maxx is a player that has a voice because he’s one of the best players in the league that also has zero “diva” tendencies to him. There’s no questioning his work ethic and will to win.

And it pains me that I have to glaze him —but I’ve been a teammate of his (he’s also lil bro) and I’m aware of how the game works

You don’t like what he said because it shows more light on how the Ravens did bad business and I’m assuming you don’t want negative vibes with your team

Class act: Maxx Crosby did it the right way in what he thought was his exit from the #Raiders, helping mend fences now that he’s likely staying.

• Quietly requested a trade to help Las Vegas have leverage and get the best deal possible
• Did not publicly comment on trade speculation so to not create drama
• Attacked rehab at the Raiders facility with teammates every day despite privately wanting out
• Maintained a healthy relationship and line of communication with GM John Spytek
• Upon being traded, he shared goodbye posts from teammates and celebrated 6 years sober
• Made an authentic, heartfelt 13-minute farewell video thanking fans and the organization
• Held accountability for the team’s losing ways instead of placing blame solely on the club
• Insisted he’s a Raider for life, expressing a desire to play for LV again before retiring
• Said he holds “no ill will” towards the Raiders after the trade and wished the team the best
• Has not negatively commented on the Ravens since the deal fell through, only sharing his agent’s statement

There’s no question Crosby would be welcomed back with open arms by team leadership, the fanbase, and the locker room in part thanks to him being a true pro in what could’ve been an ugly process.

Outside of his value on the field, the reason the #Raiders were able to get 2 1st round picks was because he wasn't throwing out his dirty laundry publicly.

When he did speak out he mentioned being tired of people speaking for him.

He could have tanked his value by threatening to hold out, not play or force the Raiders to unload him at a lesser value.

Crosby was a Raider. The team did him a favor and he did us a favor.

You're entitled to your feelings and opinions, but if you're hating on the man, you're feelings and opinions are wrong.
