Today, Russia produces 140 ballistic missiles per month. According to NATO standards, to down 140 missiles you use 280 anti-ballistic interceptors. The ratio is one to two. But you will never get 280 Patriot missiles per month. Even getting 100 missiles is a huge challenge.
And this is what I want – to have 100–120 interceptors for the difficult, cold months ahead. We could get them from the U.S., either from stocks or production lines. There is political will in the U.S. to help and sell the interceptors, but production is not that high for now. That means existing stocks are an option. Will the Americans be ready to give us something from stocks? I don’t know. We will see.
Countries in the Middle East – we are in dialogue with them too. As well as some package – not particularly large – from the Europeans. And with all due respect to the Europeans, they have helped a lot and we appreciate that, they should share these missiles to help save lives.

in its ability to protect the means by which we pursue moral progress. However, there is no guarantee that this capacity will persist into the future, so we must make a great effort to protect the foundations of democracy—most importantly, the ability to criticize all ideas with
We can be proud of America and all the moral good it has brought to this world while also understanding that it has made many grave mistakes and will inevitably continue to make mistakes as long as it exists.
The greatness of America lies
@elonmusk The agent was clearly in the wrong. There was no need to shoot her at all. This guy should be charged with murder unequivocally. This guy could go down in history as the biggest pussy the world has ever seen. I say that with the utmost sincerity.
@DavidSacks@chamath The risks, however small, lie in the fact that the growth of knowledge is unpredictable. No person can predict the future dangers that could arise. In fact, we need only misuse knowledge once to end the human project.
@notlouisck There will be genetic predispositions for minds to react to reality in particular ways. The physical structure of these minds can not be modified in real time but through intentional effort. These differences coupled with disparities in stored knowledge in a particular mind will
@jeremykauffman No I don't. The issue would be better resolved by looking for solutions that don't involve violence. Including mental health care and facilities that can keep people off the streets who are dangerous.
@elonmusk Interesting that Elon doesn't believe in God, but says God Bless Americs. Elon has done more for humanity than God ever did because God does nothing and never will. You might as well say Scooby f@#$%#@ Doo bless america.
@RealCandaceO Porn can be made ethically or unethically. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with watching two people have sex, just like theres nothing wrong with watching two animals have sex. Porn addiction can be problematic for one's life just like any addiction. We must regulate it.
@JoJoFromJerz This would be a very bad idea. Elons assets are in stock not cash. He would have to sell off much of the businesses he created which would not be beneficial for humanity. Elon is working on projects that could end poverty globally and end the need for money all together.
@RealCandaceO Sam didn't get many things wrong. The problem is merely the inability of most to discern the depth and intricacies of his arguments. If you actually listened to Sam's podcasts you might actually have real knowledge to share.
@RubinReport@ericweinstein@SamHarrisOrg All one must do is actually listen to Sams podcasts. Everything he says if very well thought out and supported by reason and critical analysis. Additionally, he will go down in history as one of the greatest thinkers of our time. Still at the top of his game. Great job Sam!
@jordanbpeterson Slavery is wrong in the same way that anything is wrong. It's been subject to massive criticism by all reasoners and come through by virtue of its strength as an argument. Moral arguments are reducible to binary actions through logic and reason.
@elonmusk I think your assesment of the intrinsic value of human life is missing a key component. All minds have the latent potential to be rendered as creative universal computing machines and potentially infinitely valuable toward new knowledge creation.
