@DrZoeHyde I can afford to purchase N95 or better masks but sadly school staff are only permitted to wear the surgical grade masks provided by the school boards. We are not allowed to protect ourselves and students further to prevent transmission.

@imgrund @YorkRegionGovt The data isn't even accurate either! There are many cases not being reported so the numbers should be much higher and so should the amount of schools closing. My sons school notified us that it has 10 confirmed cases but the website tracker only shows 4.

I don't normally retweet myself but I'm putting this out here again. We can't forget what is needed for a #SafeSeptember. Obviously there are other things i.e. mental health supports, ventilation, enhanced health and safety protocols but twitter limits the # of characters. :-)
