I attended A+ training and I learned several new and innovative ways to teach math. I learned a whole new way to teach 2 step equations that will be a game changer for my students.
I use Schoology, Google Classroom, Progress Learning, iReady, Edpuzzle and Quizizz. I try to pull in fun and engaging activities. My students love using the technology instead of paper and pencil all the time. The students are more successful as well
@Chandlerm122023 If you like Kahoot, try Quizizz. It is self paced, they can work at their own pace. As you know we have slower thinkers, so this gives them the opportunity to feel successful
When evaluating media and technology resources I have found through my research that some educators create checklists. They answer questions on the 1st checklist. If it makes it past the 1st checklist then they move to the 2nd checklist. I will try this. So much easier.
A+ College Ready is an organization that partners with Alabama schools to develop a pipeline of rigorous middle and high school classes, including AP courses. I will be attending an A + training professional development next week at Hewitt Trussville High School.
