For the hundredth time: I. Am. Not. Stormy. Daniels. There are (more than!) two Stephanie Cliffords in the world. Might use "When you wipe the shit off your shoes, this is what's left" for a blurb on my next book tho...
@josettecaruso Hey Josette - this is my photo, and it's copyrighted by @Photomom555 , and you're using it without authorization, on top of misidentifying me. My name is Stephanie Clifford, but I'm an author and journalist. I'm not Stormy Daniels. Can you please remove the photo?
I keep thinking about the moment in Maestro, otherwise careful about being a period piece, where it's the '60s and Bradley Cooper as Bernstein pulls dog kibble from his car's trunk...and it's Taste of the Wild, introduced in 2007
To walk and bike in Prospect Park, a glittering jewel enjoyed by tens of thousands, is to watch heavy motor scooters and souped up electric bikes buzzing riders and walkers alike. Why is this acceptable? @prospect_park@NYCParks :
In less than five hours of deliberation, the jury came back with a verdict in the Sam Bankman-Fried trial: guilty on all seven counts of fraud and conspiracy. https://t.co/7NZTgkYvvc
Sam Bankman-Fried convicted of all seven counts after less than five hours of deliberations. He was quite still as the forewoman said “Guilty” seven times; as he left the courtroom, he turned and gave his parents a nod and a sad smile.
Is he "Samuel Bankman-Fried," fraudster and "celebrity chaser" and liar? Or "Sam," an "awkward high-school-math nerd" who meant well? FTX/SBF trial closing arguments: https://t.co/4F0KUhE0Gt
Congratulations to the brilliant @stephcliff for being shortlisted for an #FPALondon award for this moving piece on what happens when autistic people get caught up the criminal justice system https://t.co/EUmMpiLXxI
In his final testimony, Sam Bankman-Fried offered terse replies and did not come off as particularly accessible or sensible. Read Stephanie Clifford's latest from the courtroom. https://t.co/fcja2xY0iL
I thought SBF was good on direct questioning today. Doubt he’ll hold under cross, but here are his explanations – which I think will hold water w the jury for time being - point by point. https://t.co/Ts3vr2bgyp
Um, SBF has lawyers who likely charge in the thousands per hour per lawyer, a spokesman, image consultants, just brought a $720/hr expert witness to the stand, and we’re buying the line that his shirts are discount Macy’s due to the FTX bankruptcy? Come on.
“While other witnesses from FTX and Alameda have explained pretty complicated concepts clearly, Sam Bankman-Fried seemed to be parrying, rephrasing, answering questions that weren’t asked, and avoiding answering the questions that were.”
