Warwick Town Trail 16 - The Eastgate
The Church of St Peter was placed atop this gate in 15th C. Rebuilt in 1788. Now privately owned & beautifully refurbished for visitors to rent and stay in true style. It is the gateway to Smith St & more independent shopping for visitors.
So proud of my friend @kategarraway she continues to surprise, delight, occasionally infuriate but always inspire me. Thinking of Kate, her family and anyone who is battling Covid or has lost someone close to them to the virus. #FindingDerek
Thanks to the government's #CultureRecoveryFund we now have a way for our visitors to book their tickets to the Lord Leycester online, via our new website.
We look forward to opening our gate to the public on May 21st.

Warwick Town Trail 13
St Mary’s was founded on its present site in 1123 by Roger de Beaumont (Newburgh), 2nd Earl of Warwick. It has survived through many adversities to become this wonderful place of worship & historical importance that attracts many people through its doors.
“It is a huge undertaking which we hope to achieve through the generosity of those many people near and far who value @StMarysWarwick” — Rev @VaughanSRoberts

Warwick Town Trail 10
To the right of Northgate House is Priory Park, site of the mediaeval Priory of the Holy Sepulchre a vast mansion which was shipped to the USA in 1926 & now forms part of Virginia House in Richmond, Virginia!
This is Janet from The Wonderful Wig Company company styling one of our strawberry blonde wigs! 🥰
The recipient wanted her new wig to look like her natural hair which was curly, so Janet is perming the wig ready to be trimmed for it's owner 💜 Beautiful work from Janet!
Spotlight on Warwick-Hill Close Gardens
A rare example of Victorian gardens once used by townsfolk living above their business to escape from the crowded town, now lovingly restored and nationally recognised. Beautiful.

“Being out delivering mail and parcels, I know first-hand how difficult this past year has been for people. I didn’t hesitate to get my vaccine when offered.”
Getting the vaccine means better days are ahead.
