@thesaraloretta@heyhey Down side:
- Like August said, it can feel inflexible and limiting, especially if you're a filter/label power user.
I will say they've added quite a few organization features. It doesn't feel anywhere near as limiting as it did a year ago.
@thesaraloretta@heyhey I've been using Hey since it launched. If you like the design decisions behind Basecamp, you'll like it.
Plus side:
- I LOVE being able to screen out senders. It has made my inbox so much cleaner. I went back to Mail/Gmail once and got so overwhelmed/annoyed.
@rezzz I was on a training a couple weeks ago where the guy recommended against double opt-in because he wanted them to get to the value as quickly as possible.
In his experience, that created a healthier list (paired with good list hygiene in general)
@ChrisHufnagel I'm a big advocate for exit modals vs other pop-ups. We want people to engage with the content on the page, not interrupt their browsing experience. Interrupting them with a pop-up makes no sense. Exit intent is the way to go 💪
@Michael_Easter Exactly what I did. I used an old Jansport bag with an 8lb dumbbell. And when I was starting out, I felt that. Now I regularly ruck with 30lbs in a Rucker. But I had to start somewhere first.
- Go all in
- Savor each moment
- Work like it's a gift
- Plan for presence
- Love well
- Don't be afraid to be brilliant
What would yours say?
P.S. The Daily Planner worksheet is from @BusMadeSimple 's life planning course "Hero On A Mission".
Every day, I fill out a Daily Planner worksheet, and on the right is a column that says:
"If this were the second time I were living this day, what would I do differently?"
This questions helps me pre-determine what's truly important (and reminds me that I only get one shot at today).
There are 6 blank lines. Here are mine for today:
