@_Railcards@TfL Thanks for your response, I've raised this with @TfL in the past and I am supposed to travel without a ticket and pay at the first opportunity, however this can only be done if staff let me through the gates. @TfL haven't said if they plan to make any changes.
If only it was possible to buy a discounted ticket. @TfL ticket machines currently block sales of tickets with a Network railcard and encourage you to pay more with contactless. @_Railcards Will this block ever get removed from ticket machines?
Looks like my single train fare has increased from ยฃ12.30 to ยฃ16.40 using contactless yesterday. I guess I'll be going back to paper tickets with a railcard.
I have been cycling around Milan most of the day. The cycling culture is different here compared to the UK. I've not seen a single person wearing high-vis clothing. It's very easy to cycle around with lots of cycle lanes and modal filters on the roads.
@MikeyCycling I use the Pebblebee Clip trackers. The initial pairing is a bit tricky but after you've paired them they seem to work without any issues.
@chilternrailway Hi, how can I submit a delay repay request for a journey made using contactless? There is no option to submit anything when you select the "Other Contactless" option on the form.
On my third trip of the day I've ended up travelling in 168001. This is the same train I used to take on Saturday nights from Birmingham to Northolt Park many years ago. Looks really nice now with the new refurbishment.
@TfL Hi, what is the best way to request a ticket refund (full or partial) for overpayment of a journey because the London Underground ticket machines are incapable of selling a discounted ticket?
@chilternrailway Is it possible to touch out at Aylesbury in the evening when the station building is closed? The gates are open but it won't register a touch on the reader when exiting. I'm using a Smartcard on this occasion but intend to also use contactless when that launches.
@TfL Hi, one of your buses has a faulty card reader and isn't accepting my ITSO smartcard. The driver refused boarding when showing the ticket on my smartphone as a backup. Can you raise a complaint to the operator and provide training to the bus driver please? @LonTravelWatch
Is there any possibility that rolling stock can be temporarily reallocated to the Aylesbury services tomorrow @chilternrailway? The overcrowding is probably going to be the same tomorrow because of the reduced London Underground Met line services in and out of central London.
I've uploaded some videos to YouTube. It's all cycling trips that I've done in Buckinghamshire and London (and often to or from a railway station). If anyone finds them interesting or useful I might upload some more. https://t.co/pOgdRXEQw7
