Please, I am urgently appealing to you for help concerning the death of my niece, Rebecca Uankhoba, a nursing student who died in Anyigba, Kogi State, on 6 June 2025.
According to the family's investigation and the police case, Rebecca became pregnant, and we allege that her lecturer, , was involved in an attempt to terminate the pregnancy through an unqualified practitioner. Tragically, Rebecca died. We were later informed that her body was taken and abandoned by the roadside.
The police investigated the matter. The officers who investigated the case were Officer Solomon and Inspector Amos. According to what was communicated to the family, the investigation produced admissions/confessions concerning what happened to Rebecca.
The matter went before High Court 6 in Lokoja. However, despite the seriousness of the allegations, suspects were released on bail, and one of the suspects has reportedly remained at large.
Recently, I personally mobilised the police to apprehend the suspect who was still available. I was subsequently contacted by the State Counsel and informed that the judge had directed that the suspect also be released on bail.
As a family, we are deeply concerned about the handling of this case and fear that there may have been interference or a compromise in the process. We are not asking you to prejudge anyone or replace the court. We are asking for an independent journalistic investigation into what happened to Rebecca and why the prosecution has not brought justice to her family.
Mr Rufai, please, we desperately need your help to bring this matter into the public eye and ensure that the relevant authorities properly investigate and prosecute the case.
I have documents and information concerning the police investigation and court proceedings that I can provide to you privately.
Please, sir, kindly give this matter your attention. Rebecca deserves justice.
Thank you.
Joseph Uankhoba
Family representative of Rebecca Uankhoba
Election don come, guy man don remember Hausa people. He no remember them when he was filling all the juicy appointments with Lagos APC. Have you seen his campaign council list? Bro full am with Hausa names. Hausa go run the campaigns, Lagos go enjoy he dividends 😂
2027, vote for this man. This is the right man for the job. He has consistently preached hope and has backed his words with evidence. He has repeatedly challenged Nigerians to go and verify his record as a former Governor and his involvement in various businesses. A man who, to date, has no criminal conviction and no known case against him with the EFCC.
A man who has presented himself as straightforward, truthful, and determined to put an end to the rascality and disorder that have become too common in Nigeria. Nigeria has become a joke in the eyes of many around the world, and we must begin to straighten things out and make our country sane again. He has said this will be his last time contesting for the presidency. If we miss this opportunity, we may not get another chance with him. In the 2027 election, vote His Excellency Peter Obi. And most importantly, make sure you protect, guard, and defend your vote. Let’s get it right this time.
DROP THAT LOVE EMOJI ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ IN THE COMMENTS SECTION FOR PETER OBI.
FAAN, respectfully, you created a problem that did not exist and then designed a system to solve what nobody knows.
That is the real issue here.
Uber, Bolt & Others already show me the driver, the car, plate number, price, route, location, rating and receipt. Fam the entire trip is digitally traceable and i’m happy.
What additional ‘visibility’ are we looking for ?
Your airport domiciled taxis are the only ones that are lacking behind with their laminated armed robber priced trips for Toyota big daddy.
What are you doing about that ?
Instead, you somehow found a way to insert itself into the part of the market that was already working.
This habit has to stop.
Every successful private sector innovation cannot become an invitation for government to create another platform, concession or collection point.
Your job is to regulate the airport. FAAN does not need to become Uber’s Uber or Bolt’s Bolt.
@Brilamedia What exactly is Pinnick doing in the race? Are u people crazy?? These people literally started the decline we are withnessing in the Football space. The whole thing simply spiraled out of control due to grand corruption and incompetence
This narrative is flawed to begin with.
Building a N15 trillion naira road whilst your economy spirals down is not a reform.
It’s a mismanagement of scarce resources and enrichment of associates.
Almost 15 countries condemned the attack in Niger State in which dozens were killed. But many Nigerians are unaware that such an attack happened because the media refused to report it.
We’re in a serious crisis under this government!
APC has mobilized influencers and their campaign instruction is just these three lines.
1. “Peter Obi used to be my favorite—but he’s too weak to lead.”
2. “I used to be an Obidient, but let us give Tinubu time for his reforms.”
3. "APC has won the election already.”
BEWARE!
Lagos Govt Removes Over 50 Campaign Banners of Peter Obi, NDC Reps Candidate Dr Adefolaseye in Surulere, Leaves APC Banners Intact
Why remove it after making them pay to state government?
TINUBU THINK SAY NA ONLY LAGOS THEY NIGERIA! Okay
Our journey began with the Labour Party. We moved to the coalition party, the ADC, and when the battle with the courts began, we moved to the @NigeriaNDCHQ.
It was here that the OK ticket was sealed.
Let’s be informed.

"BOLA THINK SAY HE DEY SMART"
You took money away from Nigerians in the name of subsidy removal and gave it to the Governors in return for their votes and support.
Now the election is almost here and you realised that the Governors can't deliver you, and you've now came back to ask Nigerians, the same people you took away monies from their pockets to go and hold the Governors accountable.
BABA, did you tell Nigerians that you're going to give the monies to the Governors?
Did you tell Nigerians before giving or when you're giving the Governors the monies?
What would they use to hold the Governors accountable?
OGA, you better go and hold them accountable yourself, leave Nigerians out of this.
"This administration is breeding poverty. You don't need me to rate it. Just visit any market in Nigeria, and you will be able to rate it yourself.” -Peter Obi!
