There have been 2 chemical attacks on the Palestine solidarity community in Toronto in the last few days.
Last night, a woman drove a plough directly through a crowd of protestors gathered on the sidewalk outside the US consulate – while smiling and giving them the finger. She appeared to be working for a @cityoftoronto contractor.
@TPSOperations let her go.
Rhetoric from many in positions of power smearing Palestine solidarity has emboldened this dangerous behaviour. The extremist and racist violence against our communities must be stopped. @oliviachow@gary_srp@SeanFraserMP@vgasparro@TPSMyronDemkiw@MarkJCarney@fordnation

BCCLA condemns the Liberal government’s unfounded, biased, and authoritarian decision to bar Irish-language rap group Kneecap from Canada, preventing them from performing their October shows.

🚨 Urgent: Urge @UHN to support the North American Refugee Conference 2025 🚨
The North American Refugee Health Conference (NARHC) 2025 is facing a smear campaign attempting to threaten funding, and support while trying to silence refugee voices – over discourse and advocacy of some speakers related to Palestine.
@UHN has already removed NARHC from its highlighted conferences list.
We need to act NOW.
Please sign and share this campaign to urge UHN to stand strong and keep supporting this vital global health conference.

A Letter from Hell
(Part 1)
I write this not as a doctor, nor a son, nor a man.
I write this as one who has descended into the bowels of hell and returned, not with prophecy, but with silence in his throat and blood under his nails.
What you are about to read is not a message. It is a confession. A cry. A record of our descent.
And God help me, perhaps a final prayer.
We are trapped in a spiral, a great, grinding wheel of misery that turns not by accident, but by the hands of men.
It is not fate that starves us. It is not Heaven that bombs us.
It is the logic of the powerful, the rituals of violence, the cold arithmetic of geopolitics that has made our streets into slaughterhouses.
Each morning, I wake with the same thought: Has the battery died?
Not mine. I have long been emptied. But the one in my phone.
I need it alive long enough to charge again at the hospital, to remain tethered to something, anything, that suggests we still belong to the living.
There is no water.
There is no breakfast.
There is no “routine.”
There is only a salt-stained bucket of seawater where a sink once stood.
I wash my face, not to cleanse, but to remember that I am still flesh and not yet dust.
I do not eat.
We eat once a day, if we can.
We save what scraps remain for one midday communion: rice, lentils, silence.
I arrive at the hospital, and the doctor greets me with an inventory of absence:
No more orthopedic implants.
No promethazine.
No certainty.
No hope.
The floors are red.
Not metaphorically. Not poetically.
They are red.
And this is what I ask myself: Is our blood even red?
Are we made of the same clay, the same sorrow, the same divine breath that once stirred the lungs of Adam?
If so, then why do we die like vermin?
Why does the world avert its eyes while we rot in full view?
Why does one hostage’s hunger move the soul of nations, while the skeletal bodies of two million children evoke nothing but polite disbelief?
I have lost fifteen kilograms. My bones have names now. My cheeks are hollowed caverns.
The children, God, the children are unrecognizable. They are no longer children. They are shadows with eyes.
And still I said: release the hostages. Every last one. Without conditions.
Because no life should be bartered like coin.
But now I ask you. No, I demand of you. Who will fight for us?
Who will demand our release from this monstrous tribunal of fire and famine?
We did not vote for war.
We did not ignite this blaze.
We are fuel. Nothing more.
We are the tinder that keeps the headlines burning.
I tried to escape. I begged. I bribed. I wept like a child.
But I failed. And now all that remains is this: stay alive, one more day, in a place designed to extinguish life itself.

Must read thread.
Israel is threatening Palestinian staff and targeting international aid organizations in the occupied West Bank.
@AnitaAnandMP has been careful in her wording stating she does not want the Canadian weapons she continues to approve to be used in Gaza.
There is a genocide in all of Palestine.
Canada must call out this egregious conduct and cease all support of the Israeli state. @GAC_Corporate@MarkJCarney@CanadaFP@Rob_Oliphant@MonaFortier

🧵 BREAKING: CANADA IS ARMING GENOCIDE AND LYING TO CANADIANS
For nearly two years, the Canadian government has misled the public about its role in supplying weapons to Israel. What they claimed - and what’s actually happening - are worlds apart.
Let’s break it down ⬇️
Genocidal Liberal MP @AHousefather is demanding govt follow Trump in blocking @BobbyVylan from entering Canada to perform because they denounced a military committing a holocaust. Email public safety minister @gary_srp to reject request

NEW: The RCMP, Canada’s federal police force, investigated me for my journalism about the Israeli military. Here’s what happened...

Prime Minister Carney and Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand follow through with their threat of sanctions, and impose an arms embargo on Israel now https://t.co/YAMxrpwtJx
I hate seeing my people like this while the world just ignores. Babies are starving and mothers are in pain. Millions of Sudanese women and children are going through things no one should ever have to face. #KeepEyesOnSudan
as this cruel world attempts to ridicule and dehumanize trans people this is such a great accomplishment. we need to continue uplifting their voices. trans rights are human rights 🏳️⚧️
Gaza has become a “mass grave” for Palestinians and those helping them.
Israeli forces are systematically destroying Palestinian life and showing a blatant disregard for the safety of humanitarian and medical workers:

“Mom, forgive me… I took this path to help people.”
A video found on the phone of one of the paramedics executed days ago in Rafah—part of a group of 15—completely refutes the Israeli army’s narrative. It documents the moment they were directly fired upon, showing clearly that the vehicles involved were ambulances and civil defense units, with no resemblance to military vehicles as claimed by the occupation.
This painful scene is not just a record of a crime, but a bleeding testimony added to a long list of evidence proving the deliberate targeting of humanitarian teams—yet another lie exposed in Israel’s efforts to justify killing.
