U8 Ambers got 2025 underway with a chilly away trip to Deeping Rangers Blue to play a good close game, with both teams very evenly matched.

Myself, Mr Atkinson and @MissCAinsworth1 are super proud of @StThomasBoston girls football team. They played their 1st league game tonight against Tower Road Academy, winning 6-0. Great teamwork and determination shown but the smiles at the final whistle were the highlight.
U8 Ambers were away vs One Touch. A very close game, with the team showing great determination throughout. Although sometimes difficult, it was great to see the team playing nice football. 🏆

We are having a fantastic time @Bostonboro learning about Local democracy. We have even seen king Henry VIII’s charter and Queen Elizabeth I and had tea with the Mayor, Mayoress and Deputy Mayor. Thank you so much! @StThomasBoston
U8 Amber had their first home game of the season v Swineshead. Starting on the front foot is something the team feels is important; they had a great start, creating lots of early chances. The opposition settled into the game, making it more difficult as the game progressed.

Parents’ & Assistant Manager’s POTM was Tilly who controlled the ball well, took extra touch to compose herself before having shots at goal.
🏆 Manager’s POTM was Louisa. In defence she organised the girls around her & put in great tackles to stop the attacks from Langoft.
