Benefits of drinking:
-hilarious situational laughs that add years to your life
-being 7 beers deep in the Sun with your friends realizing you almost forgot the point of life is to have fun with people who make you happy
-3 bottles of wine with your wife then smashing all night without a condom (lasting 975% longer)
-heartwarming couples dinners hugging goodnight thinking ‘I’m so glad we did this’
-concerts with your girlfriend and friends making lifelong memories favorite songs slapping mythologically
-backyard party watching your girlfriend hit it off with your Aunt while your friends and Uncles plan a road trip to a Big 10 football game “Hanging By A Moment” by Lifehouse jamming in the background wanting to freeze time and live this day every day the rest of your life realizing ‘wow life is a miracle I’m so lucky to be alive’
All they had to do was hand the mic to Creed or Aldean.
The fumbling of our nation’s semiquincentennial is disappointing, but not surprising. Our country had renewed national pride, but it died with the foreign entanglements & permanent alliances that Washington warned against.
@tedcruz I proudly stood in the way of your AI-data center amendment to the Big Beautiful Bill that would have given those companies immunity from the law. In fact, @mtgreenee and I got it stripped from the bill. Did your big tech cronies still let you cash their checks after you failed?
On tax day, remember that the federal government takes in more than $5 trillion/year, which is more than the GDP of every country on the planet (except the US itself and China).
They still overspend by another $2 trillion.
They refuse to address rampant waste, fraud and abuse.
I grew up in Kingsport, TN
and I never once questioned my Father’s or Mother's income. It was never a discussion. We never once discussed how people voted or for who. We ate homemade meals consisting of meat, potatoes, and vegetables. We never touched anything that did not belong to us. We never opened a refrigerator at anyone's house unless asked to do so. We were taught to respect other peoples property. And we were rewarded for acting properly.
We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, helped with all chores. We, by no means, were given everything we wanted. We were not allowed to stay in our bedrooms all day and we were not allow to sit on the bed during the day. We went outside a lot to play, run with friends, play hide and seek, or went bike riding. We rarely just sat inside.
Bottled water was unheard of, if we wanted water we drank straight from the faucet or hose. If we had a soda, it was in a glass bottle, and we didn’t break the bottle when finished. We saved the bottle for the return money. And, we collected the bottles for the nickel for our next purchase.
We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with, and be home before dark.
You 𝑳𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑵𝑬𝑫 from your parents instead of disrespecting them and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing. What they said was 𝑳𝑨𝑾 and you did not question it and you had better know it! We watched what we said around our elders and neighbors because we knew if we 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑷𝑬𝑪𝑻𝑬𝑫 any grown-up, we would get a real good whooping, it wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline!
We held the doors for others and carried the shopping into the house. We gave up our seat for an older person without being asked.
You didn't hear swear words on the radio in songs or on TV. "Please and Thank you", were part of our daily vocabulary!
The world we live in now is just so full of people who hate and disrespect others.
Friends, consider re-posting if you're thankful for your childhood. I will 𝑵𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹 𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑮𝑬𝑻 where I came from and only wish children and people nowadays had half the chance at the fun and respect for real life we grew up with! And we were never bored!
The amount of taxes my husband and I have to pay this year between property tax, income tax, gas tax, sales tax, and all the other taxes is so completely insane I can't believe we aren't burning down the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board knowing that 99% of this money that we can't use for our own family is being sent to the local fraud rings, the thieving homeless industry, and the NGO-Democrat criminals who are bleeding the last few normal people dry.
If anyone thinks I am going to start voting for the party who want to INCREASE taxes and impoverish us further: um, no.
Allow me to educate you:
One friend of mine got banished from Broadway in 2020 for not getting the jab. She is a 2x Tony Award nominee and they still won't welcome her back.
Another was fired from a world-famous band after posting about a book by a controversial journalist.
Another was cancelled by a major symphony orchestra in 2020. He's currently suing another symphony orchestra that's trying to blackball him.
Two friends of mine had their long and distinguished careers destroyed for voicing gender critical views. One is in the US, the other is in the UK (yes, it's an international problem).
I'm still on a list in NYC for condemning pandemic policy and identity politics.
Many people have had their lives ruined over the past decade for nothing more than their mere existence being offensive to left-wing orthodoxy. They had thriving careers doing what they loved, with people they thought were friends.
Then they thought one wrong thing and it was all over.
"Cancel Culture" doesn't grab headlines the way it did 10 years ago. It's no longer shocking. We've even grown used to it. But the thing is, most of the people who get cancelled aren't rich, famous comedians.
That's why people like this person can pretend it doesn't happen, successfully signaling to peers that she's still "safe" to associate with, all while remaining blissfully ignorant of the devastation wrought over the past decade...most of it inflicted by people exactly like her.
Speaking about the deep contradictions in human nature, Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada said:
“Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one barely use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about the relatives still in their lives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have a partner often fail to appreciate them. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the full complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.
The key to happiness is gratitude—to truly see and value what we already have, and to understand that somewhere, someone would give everything for what we take for granted.”
We just went back and counted. Micro penis @marklevinshow has shit posed about me over 100 times since November. I’ve responded a total of six times - starting w/asking him to tone it down saying he’s going to get someone killed. In response he amped up his attacks ten-fold in the nastiest, most personal,
misogynistic, vile terms possible, on his show and on X. Fox News allows this. MicroP is obsessed. It’s sick.
