@ckdgaf @OwenRynex Your 50 yard FG is good 2/3 of the time, the average team has a 68% greater chance starting at the 30 than the 10 of scoring FG/TD. Can’t calculate the variables time off clock or if they had gotten extra yardage but they are positive variables not negative.

@ckdgaf @OwenRynex a 50 yard FG has a 63% chance of success so you can’t compare it straight but that may make up for the difference, but again you have increased chance of a 1st down, TD, or more yards plus time off clock. Still a very clearly mathematical answer. Your gut is wrong like the coach

@ckdgaf @OwenRynex No, they were on the 10. Run it and it’s a turnover on downs there, or they gain yards for even deeper, or first down, or TD. A FG gave the falcons the ball at the 30 so you did in fact give them 20 free yards and you only went from 3 to 6 pt lead which doesn’t matter vs TD. Dumb

@Eagles Incredibly bad strategy. Should have ran it so the result was a turnover on downs deep in their territory or a TD. By kicking a field goal you gave them extra yards to match down for the win. 3 or 6 points is still beat by a TD, which is exactly how you lost.

But you claim to “know” it is while we are running a differential diagnosis based on what we know. My #1 thing to rule out right now would be HOCM based on demographic & what we know. Blood clot would be another.
