We’ve been working hard on cricket skills—catching, batting, and overarm bowling. Everyone’s made great progress, building confidence and improving technique. Brilliant to see it all come together in a match with great effort and teamwork on display!

As a community-rooted organisation, it means a lot to give pupils a space to sit, socialise & enjoy the outdoors every day.
We’ve been busy preparing lunches; chicken wraps, herby potatoes and salad, building both food preparation and customer service skills along the way. It’s been a great example of teamwork, and everything tastes delicious.
Rugby has been the focus in our Friday multisport sessions.
Participants have been building key skills like passing, catching, movement, evasion & tagging, all while having a great time!
These sessions go beyond sport, helping develop coordination, teamwork & social skills.
Our textile group have been busy creating these amazing giraffe-inspired bags! From cutting, stitching and then applying their design, everyone worked hard through the process to achieve fantastic results.
Exciting gardening update! This season, we’re mixing tradition with experimentation. We’ve just planted peas and beans to climb up our tepee structure, potatoes in our over the ground towers and onions and rhubarb are getting settled in too. Can’t wait to watch everything grow!
This afternoon was pure St. Patrick’s Day magic as we celebrated in true Bongo Bingo style. Nothing beats a room full of friends, Irish music and a bit of bingo fun to get everyone smiling.
Great progress in our squash sessions! Players have been learning the rules of the game, developing their racket skills, improving movement around the court, and supporting each other along the way. Fantastic to see confidence and teamwork growing each week!
Friday afternoons = Film Friday! Our social space turns into a mini cinema. Relax, enjoy a great film, and treat ourselves to tasty snacks, the perfect way to end the week!
Our sea-inspired dress is a collaborative effort! Each of us made our own swirls, and together they’ve come together into one unique design, which is simply stunning.
Our gardening group has been busy getting everything ready for spring! We’ve been preparing seed beds, planting a lovely seasonal mix of seeds and chitting our potatoes so they’re ready for planting. Now we can’t wait to see the first signs of growth, roll on spring!
Our art group has been working on landscape drawings, focusing on perspective, and finishing them with watercolour. Everyone did an amazing job and the final pieces look fantastic.
Thanks to money raised at last year’s fundraising raffles, attendees have been using brand-new cameras to learn the basics of photography. From lighting and angles to creative projects like fruit still life and creepy heads, they’ve already captured some amazing images.
We’re loving our music sessions with Casa Canto! From singing and dancing to playing percussion instruments, these fully inclusive sessions are set to our favourite tracks and enjoyed by everyone.
What a wonderful festive week it’s been! From Christmas dinners and games to music, dancing, movies, and our own interpretation of Bongo Bingo, there was something for everyone. Hot chocolate in our winter wonderland added the perfect finishing touch to a week full of festive fun
Fantastic night at St Williams Social Club Ince for our attendees’ Christmas Party! Mascot Mania kept the room buzzing with games and his legendary “12 Days of Christmas.” Thanks to Elite Electrical NW Ltd, Cassidy Catering, and Wigan Events & Soft Play for making it special.
