or take advantage of the dip 🤷 nfa but cool thing about perps is you can hedge short-term with high leverage but maintain long-term low-leverage bull position
Saylor sold 32 $BTC and the price slipped by 10%.📉
Ether followed, now hovering around $1900, with fears of more volatility looming.
Do you have positions open in @aave, @sparkdotfi, @Morpho, @0xfluid or @LiquityProtocol?
Here are four ways to protect them from loss.🧵
Perpetuals trading powered by @HyperliquidX is now live at DeFi Saver.
This marks a major step in our mission towards providing access to all of DeFi within one app.
Hyperliquid markets combined with signature DFS features are now available at: https://t.co/rziaen5COr
Support for Aave V4 is now live at DeFi Saver.
Having supported Aave since V1 in 2020, and having integrated both V2 and V3 on launch days, we're thrilled to go live with the next major version of DeFi's most popular lending protocol.
Congratulations on the launch @Aave! 👻
Starting the year off strong with a huge step towards DeFi Saver becoming the main stop for all of DeFi. 💪🏻 Big challenge and an amazing team effort across the whole org!
Summer users, welcome. You're in good hands.
Today we are partnering with @summerfinance_ to support Summer․fi Pro users while the team focuses their full attention on the Lazy Summer protocol.
Summer․fi is an OG team and project in the space and we’re proud they chose us to support Summer․fi Pro users onwards while the team focuses on creating great yield opportunities with Lazy Vaults.
Dedicated my Friday to flying to Belgrade to meet the @DeFiSaver team, some of the best builders in DeFi and a team we’ve been working with since 2020. We brainstormed Aave V4, and I have to say, a lot will be cooking in the coming months. Bullish on Belgrade’s dev community.
While I believe there's no better way to run an early startup than meritocracy, turns out it's not the best way to scale it.
There's something to be said about how a team got to great results. By analyzing the behavior that led to outcomes, modeling it for others and rewarding the behavior in addition to the outcome, you build a framework that sets your team up for long-term success and repeatable results. It's important to be intentional with this and not just give out participation trophies.
Amazon defines this as focusing on controllable inputs (behavior and process) instead of blindly rewarding the output. Nadella similarly instilled a similar mindset change in Microsoft.
Think about what makes top people in your team a great fit, and double-down on it. Don't expect it to happen naturally.
My career in crypto:
> Start a YouTube channel about DeFi on the side in 2021
> Channel hits 5K on Christmas Day, 2021. 10K on Feb 1, 2022.
> Bear market hits. Keep grinding.
> Leave my job for a role in the industry.
> Terra collapses the next day. Job falls through.
> Apply for tons of industry jobs. Universally rejected.
> Start posting on twitter 7X daily. Focus on sharing analysis of onchain metrics.
> Grow to tens of thousands of followers.
> Learn to make better videos. Grind out evergreen crypto content.
> Start a DeFi newsletter.
> Contribute to a few projects. Build a few websites and bots.
> Find a niche sharing DeFi metrics.
> Crypto comes back. Channel and newsletter grow to 50K and 20K subs.
> @0xngmi reaches out last December. Asks if I’d join DefiLlama part-time to run marketing.
> Institutions start asking about DeFi data. Someone needs to take the calls. Start doing BD too.
> Join DefiLlama full-time this summer to run sales and marketing.
> DefiLlama launches a paid version.
> Find beta testers for the product to help promote it.
> Compile all their feedback. Test product heavily to find ways to grow usage. Turn into de facto product manager.
> Get asked to manage the revenue dev team too.
> Today: running my own media business on the side, building DefiLlama’s sales org and Pro product suite full-time, still looking for ways to keep moving forward.
Why am I sharing this?
In 2025, most organizations aren’t run on meritocracy. Other factors like internal politics or HR bs take precedent.
At @DefiLlama, everyone drives results and has the opportunity to grow accordingly. At a lean, bootstrapped startup you can’t afford to not run on meritocracy. Speed matters and results matter.
If that sounds appealing and you care about creating a more fair, more transparent financial system, consider joining my team.
just deployed something cool to show off tomorrow at @EthCC:
🪄try pressing CTRL/CMD + K next time you use @defisaver🪄
(yes, it's a quick access command bar and we'll be looking to make it more useful in the coming weeks - consider it beta rn!)
