@JakeSheridan_ Another banned book I am proud to have included in my HS ELA curriculum. This book blew my stydents' minds and stayed with them for years after, coming up as intertextual references in class discussions. Yeah- definitely shy away from anything that opens kids' minds.

@Eduventuring04 I am an OG+ specialist and I feel this to my core. It breaks my heart to watch my brilliant, talented students struggle, but I won't give up on them, even when they are exhausted. Even when we are singing and dancing and gamifying sounds and decoding, it is really tough work.

@Moms4FAPE @JamesComer @Jim_Jordan As a secondary teacher there were no classes in my masters program.around literacy and no PD's either once I got into district. In fact, I have never in 22 years of teaching had a PD in literacy.
