I always remember watching @gamewithnikki 's reaction to Anthem and how much that inspired the team.
And I'll never forget seeing DAI being shown to fans at PAX for the first time and the energy there.
Devs make games for fans and it's great to see reactions.
This video is amazing.

The amount of energy that devs get from fans to get through the hard times in development is crazy. I always watch old E3 reaction videos to lift me up and inspire.
Saw a tweet earlier lambasting teachers for assigning students to reach out to industry professionals for interviews under the pretense that it was a waste of our "valuable time."
Fuck that. If you're curious about game development I'll make the time. Hit me up.
@SamMaggs I hope you feel better Sam. Don't put the pressure on yourself to always feel happy or have to change how you're feeling. Sometimes you're just depressed and need to slowly resolve a bunch of things, and sometimes there's nothing you can do but keep on going.
If #WhatAGameDevLooksLike showcases faces in our industry, then #gamedev is brown, it’s queer, it’s women, it’s Black, it’s trans, it’s disabled, it’s Latinx, and a whole melange of other identities and their intersections.
We’ve been here all along. Now you see us. 💜✊🏽
Big yikes. Did @wargaming_net really think this was an okay thing to have an employee present at GDC?
Does @Official_GDC not review slide shows of speakers before approving them?
Either way-- Y I K E S #GDC2019
So this super awks thing happened to me yesterday at @Official_GDC registration. As I approached the line for speaker badge pickup, a security guard stopped me and asked where I was going. I pointed to the speaker registration booth ahead. He said, “that’s for speakers”.
@jobias Hmm that seems a lot higher than what I was seeing. But that was with input latency as the priority to reduce and with a severe network emulation.
Still going to be hard for twitch competitive games for sure though
I did not expect to break down and cry at a talk at gdc, but I definitely did.
Some really powerful emotional talks here and some games that are touching on topics that need to be talked about.
