@MePeterNicholls My wife has a blue badge but no car. She has it because of her mobility and eye sight. She wouldn’t be allowed to drive. But it allows anyone taking her out to park near to the venue she is attending. Her eligibility was checked in person.

@ColchesterLab I’m so glad we have a Labour MP having campaigned for Labour over the last 45 years but to stay in power she must respond to voters! My daughter has contacted her many times over a SEND issue and had no response. The proof is in the pudding!

I had a successful career in London, and outside, in middle and senior management lasting 40 years. I was mentored by brilliant people and I am not alone with my well considered opinions.

@modernheroestv Most of the people on this thread are simply upset because they perceive others getting things that they can’t. There is a lot of prejudice and ignorance against disability. They seem to think we can ring up and say we are disabled and they’ll send a free car which we will abuse.

@garygilligan My 91 year old dad died of Covid in April 2020 on his own in a hospital bed. I hadn’t been allowed to see him. He caught it in hospital - insufficient PPE? I don’t know but when I heard that BJ was partying while he died I knew I would never forgive him. My dad deserved better.
