@QuoteLogicPro@mitchellh@skyloslabs That’s what I was thinking and, with newer coding paradigms (yes, I’m referring to AI, but trying to keep people from telling me how horrible AI is), this makes even more sense from a vulnerability/economic standpoint.

@ASIISNEAR@MatrixMysteries They don’t tack anything on anywhere. You pay interest based on the outstanding balance of the loan at points in time. Year 1, you owe a lot more than year 20. But your payment is calculated in a way to be constant over the life of the loan…assuming a standard 30 yr mortgage.
@juliandeangeIis Great article on the benefits SDD. I decided on OpenSpec over GitHub SpecKit and BMAD. I like BMAD as well, but much heavier than the other two. If you’re building a new GreenField project or company, BMAD has additional tools to help with that.

Everything except your doctors is horrible. MyChart, phone system, appointment scheduling, billing, support - all of it... horrible. You've called me after I posted before. Call me if you want to know why. Still no answer to my billing dispute opened months ago.
@Grady_Booch complain about AI slop before and just find his experience different than mine. Trying to understand how the same tooling yields such different opinions.
@Grady_Booch How can I answer that without seeing how someone prompts. Sometimes, I start off by using a tool like OpenSpec to define what I want a change to do. I might then proceed to implementation, telling Claude to follow TDD principles. I’ve seen Grady…
It says to call the 866 number to get an immediate response. I suggest you have your own personnel navigate the hell that is your phone system to get to the right person for a billing dispute and to get answers.
@emoryhealthcare You have abstracted away the billing department and the provider of services so much that you aren't able to explain charges after 4+ months of inquiring. Took 14 days to get a reply through MyChart. Says it will take 5+ business days to get a reply to my reply.
