BREAKING: Tesla just had its best month ever in Australia.

Tesla delivered 6,433 vehicles in May 2026, setting a new all-time monthly sales record and surpassing the previous high of 6,017 vehicles set in March 2024.

The Model Y led the charge with 5,605 deliveries, accounting for 84% of Tesla's total sales for the month and securing its position as Australia's best-selling EV.

Tesla says a key driver behind the momentum is the six-seat Model Y L.

Starting at $74,900 plus on-road costs, it's currently the only six-seat battery-electric vehicle available in Australia and is proving especially popular with families and fleet buyers.

The numbers show Tesla's demand remains strong as the company continues expanding its presence across the Australian market.
