Last day of a five day business trip and still no word from British Airways on my checked bag that never arrived in Geneva. What’s worse…they want a credit card number from me before they will provide information. This is the worse travel experience ever. @British_Airways

@ben19821982 @British_Airways That’s frustrating — I’m just astounded that luggage that has a bar code and can be scanned still can’t be found, and apparently the airline is unwilling to look until the bag has been missing for seven days.

My first experience with British Airways was a huge disappointment! Flew into Geneva through Heathrow on Friday and still no word of my lost luggage…nothing. Lousy customer service — I’ll use another airline on my next trip. @British_Airways

@British_Airways I called the number, and when I actually spoke to a person they told me the same thing — check the link to the same site you directed me to, which of course has no information and nothing to indicate that British Airways knows if the bag is at Heathrow or somewhere else.

@British_Airways That seems both unusual and frustrating. I was under the impression that bags are scanned so the airline knows where it is. There doesn’t seem to be any indication that British Airways knows whether it has the bag or not — how is that possible?
