I’ve just learned that the actress playing Sister Monica Joan in #CallTheMidwife was married to (in real life) the actor that played Socrates in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

I don’t know why this is so amazing, but it has cheered me up. “Oh, it’s pronounced Soh-crates…”

Today, Parliament’s British Muslim group is hosting an ‘Iftar’ in Westminster Hall to commemorate Ramadan.

Westminster Hall was built over 1,000 years ago in 1097 for King William II.

To those who have the audacity to claim Britain hasn’t been colonised be immigrants… wake up.
