Last week was my final week at 10x Genomics. It was a great 4.5 years.
I'm going to be taking a couple of months off, then in the fall I'll be going back to school (one final time) at UMich to get a PhD in Bioinformatics.
The saddest part is programmers completely ignoring how Alexander got a chance to actually try out his architecture patterns idea in the real world, and ended up declaring it to have failed.

Unpopular opinion: this book is almost 30 years old and in all honesty didn't age very well. If you own a copy do yourself a favor: bury it deeply in your bookshelf and forget about it forever.
@lzsthw I only went to IRC after finally narrowing down the problem and running (\= 1 2) in a REPL and getting NIL and thought I was losing my fucking mind.
@lzsthw I finally understood the bug when I posted my code in IRC and someone said "Do you also write Prolog? Because \= is the inequality operator in Prolog." and I was taking a Prolog class at the time.
PulseAudio (an audio management system for Linux) recognizes the haptic vibration motor on the PS5 controller as a speaker, set it as the default output, and started playing the Hades menu music by vibrating the controller.

@GoogleStadia @BlueFireDemon44 When you inevitably do shut down in a couple of months could you please just release Bluetooth drivers for the controller first? It's a good controller and I'd like to be able to use it.
