Aston Villa were a Championship club 7 years ago and survived relegation by 1 point 6 years ago. Since then theyโve done an excellent job and overtaken Spurs on the pitch recently. But comparing the clubs solely on the last 2-3 seasons while ignoring the financial position and the previous decade is a bit selective.
๐ - same for me but been like that for a few years now. Itโs not a game or sport itโs just business. I absolutely despise the way the game is being run, just everything now is a turn off. Moved to grassroots and a local team that youโre completely invested in and much more enjoyment.
@mitch_fretton Common theme of buying shit players. I donโt understand why we bought him. Whoโs making decision like this to buy these players. Iโd rather bring someone in from the youth teams and wait till the summer.
Biggest robbery ever, this another instance of buying a player we didnโt even need. Buying average players over and over again but if they saved the transfer fee and wages cumulative go out and buy a world class star for 80/90 million on 300/350k weekly wage. Just nuts we repeatedly do this for the last 15/20 years
@RupertLowe10 I canโt vote reform, just dislike farage, I just donโt think he represents what we think weโre voting for. I do like Rupert, my only issue is weโre are the votes going to get spread.
This statement is deeply troubling. It reads like an attempt to retrospectively distance oneself from a cause once it became politically inconvenient, rather than a principled defence of due process and human rights.
MPs are meant to exercise judgment before lending their support, not express regret after the fact and blame โthe process.โ In any professional setting, this level of carelessness would carry consequences.
Defending the rule of law does not require public hand wringing or selective outrage. It requires competence, consistency, and backbone. Too often, this is what Parliament lacks.
@boxing_social What were the commentsโฆ says factually incorrect but where is the comments to gage against. Also why is there never any push back from the commentator or journalist. Let hearnnset the narrative all the time.
@sharrond62 Iโm really starting to warm to her, but the real question is whether the party will back her to actually deliver on these pledges. Politics always seems to circle back to the same frustration, big promises in the manifesto, little follow through in reality.
@robprogressive Hi Rob
Where is the source, details to this expenditure? I'd love to read what information there is available. Outrageous overspending.
