A few high level thoughts about how Europe can deal without Russian gas for the next 2-3 years:
Russian natural gas supply to Europe was responsible for 30% of European demand in 2021 (103bcma vs 342).
Half of that is replaced by LNG imports (from 51 to 101bcma 2021-2023) 1/6

#LDWH Well done to Longford for getting their act together and voting for their local candidates. #Athlone on the other hand needs to cop on. The biggest and wealthiest population center in the constituency now left without representation.3 Mullingar TD is not good.

@j27kerr Nothing to do with any particular political party. I admire the way the people of Longford managed their vote and made it happen. But as I said 3 Mullingar TDs in the constituency will not bode well for what is the commercial capital of the region.

@IrishRail Guys why did you add that stop in Kildare to the 06:25 Gal- Dub? It was the best morning train in from Athlone/Tullamore every day. Now just as crap as the rest. Leave 5 mins earlier and gets in 5 mins later (reality) about 3 people got on in Kildare this morning
