@hellyer_ja26490 @TerribleMaps @amazingmap Really it's just the southern end of Norway is much further west than the northern end. As an Aussie, measure any of Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne to San Franciso and LA. Head says LA is way further South so should be closer. SF is closer to us.

@amazingmap The same as my city of Brisbane, Australia, is closer to San Francisco than LA. It's about the East/West differential of the two points. @TerribleMaps you should test this one out.

@grantcohn Probably - as an AFL player he was a fullback - last line of defence on an Aussie Rules team. Tackle, disrupt, big kicks out of defence. (different to fullback in Rugby League, ie not Hayne or Valentine Holmes)
