In collaboration with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, Eldora Speedway has adjusted today’s schedule in an effort to complete the 43rd running of the Kings Royal.

Hot laps will now begin at 4:30 p.m., with the remainder of the evening’s schedule adjusted accordingly.

Eldora Speedway and the World of Outlaws have been closely monitoring today’s weather forecast and remain committed to doing everything possible to contest the Kings Royal tonight. Forecast models continue to show a broad window for the potential arrival of a fast-moving line of precipitation, and moving the start time forward provides the greatest flexibility to complete the event, regardless of the arrival time of any rain.

Due to the adjusted schedule, the autograph session and public driver meeting has been canceled. The NSCHoF auction in the Fan Zone barn is still on as scheduled with a 1pm start.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and follow Eldora Speedway’s official social media channels and website for any additional updates throughout the day.

@ohHillturtle @MeltdownRocks Doesn't matter what level he played. He has eyes, understands the game, and can see what this team is. I am as big of a fan of Yzerman there is as a player and had high hopes when he came in as GM but this isn't working. If you can't see that you do not know the sport.
