Started this group with a few guys to hold each other accountable in the gym. Now it’s 25 dudes posting their workouts, getting after it, and spreading knowledge. Makes me never want to miss. 100 a day non-negotiable this week.
Wrapping up the 48h water fast.
Couple thoughts:
-My stomach feels like it noticeably shrunk (down 6.3 pounds)
-The first 24h was way tougher than the second 24
-I felt extra cold (maybe cause it’s December). I’m suspecting this is due to a decrease in blood sugar levels and/or reduced thermogenesis since I’m not digesting food
-Increase in agita for a few hours, which I get normally. Could be due to food not neutralizing stomach acid
-No noticeable cognitive increases
Overall it was a good mental challenge and an easy way for weight loss.
I’ll do do one again early next year, maybe 72h.
24H into my first “extended” water fast just to try
Couple notes:
-Hunger definitely comes and goes. When I was busy I didn’t really notice it but when I was bored at work I really did
-Lot of brain fog and low energy.
-Tired (I did have a terrible night sleep though)
-So programmed to eat at specific times definitely sucks when you don’t lol
I’m down 4.2 pounds since I weighed last night
Curious to see if these “positive” effects start tomorrow.
