After a long 2nd year studying for @UoE_MI, as well as all the extra opportunities I have had with Exeter's medical imaging PALS and @councilofdeans#150leaders, I can now take a break knowing this year I did the best I could and have a lot to look back on and be proud of.
@UoE_MI Definitely well deserved, Clare made some of the most complex digital processing/physics lessons incredibly easy for all of us at any level to understand!
Thank you to @150Leaders as well as @UoE_MI for all the opportunities they provided. This document is a must read for anyone considering a career as an allied health professional! So many incredible insights and experiences
**Just launched** Our brand new publication Allied Health students: leading the way shares the stories of 11 #student#AHPs and their experiences of #leadership. Thank you to the #150Leaders featured and @NHS_HealthEdEng
for your support.

Our Radiology department @ndht has been busy over the last few months fighting the #COVID19 crisis and have used free time to make a video to provide a bit of fun and spread some positivity ☠️Hope you have as much fun watching as we did making it🏩
It was great to be back @UoE_MI sharing my first 10 months of experience working in the nhs. Definitely missed being here but enjoying the job so so much! Thank you @MillsJ_A for inviting me back!
So lovely to see our Exeter alumni @StevenCox98 and student radiography leaders @taturupe and @Davies123Eleri discussing their awesome 150 leaders experience and explaining the need for radiographers to lead with compassion and integrity @ExeterMed@UoE_MI@150Leaders#proud

Here's a recap of our September #MedRadJClub about navigating the transition from student to practitioner, hosted by @SarahBradder and @StevenCox98 🎓
https://t.co/XyImiSKJp9
@MillsJ_A @taturupe @AmandaBoldersto @radiographyuk@SarahBradder And keeping those links between hospitals and the university will only help strengthen students experiences on placement/ when newly qualified as more familiar faces are around #MedRadJClub
@taturupe @AmandaBoldersto @radiographyuk@SarahBradder Oh you know I would love any extension of the PALS programme 😂 but definitely a role that would naturally attract students who are also involved with Peter support during uni #MedRadJClub
@MYradres It is just a shame because people in my cohort were having to make the decision of having a summer holiday to relax after uni or get in early before their registration so they can get a "softer landing" when they start #MedRadJClub
T4 obviously the answer is to direct them all here :P. But maybe also encourage them to ease their way into their job roles. For me I was lucky in a way to start pre-registration as an AP after finishing uni so I could get a head start with a lot less of the pressure #MedRadJClub
@radiographyuk@SarahBradder It can never fully prepare you but during my last year @UoE_MI we had a newly qualified come and speak to us shining a lot of light on the reality of being newly qualified #MedRadJClub
@shannolivia97 It's amazing how much of a difference this made certainly for diagnostic radiography as the pressure of justifying requests and sending images is gone and you have a safety net while you get used to everything #MedRadJClub
