It’s ridiculous we’re begging for $2000 one time payment, when $2000 retroactively for every month of the pandemic plus $2000 for every month while it lasts is actually a moderate and reasonable request of any government that cares about its people.
"I don't want $15 minimum wage because it'll be too close to what I make"
"I don't want $600 a week unemployment for others because I make that and I'm working"
Your company loves that you focus on others making more, and not how they are paying you too little.
Are wider nets better given the same number of parameters?
We compare different ways of increasing network width while keeping the num of params constant and show that width is the determining factor for good performance.

Happy #LGBTQSTEMDay20 y'all!! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
I'm a queer boy (he/him) who does research in #DeepLearning. I'm trying to make AI more human-like through unsupervised methods.
My field was founded by a gay man named Alan Turing who had to hide who he was.
No more hiding! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
.@DSA_Maine wrote & passed against massive corporate opposition & out of state money:

💵 A Raised Min. Wage w/ Hazard Pay
🏡 Local Rent Control
🌳 A Portland Green New Deal
Last night 26 of 30 nationally-endorsed DSA candidates won. Many of the ballot initiatives that we turned out for passed. But today is not for self-congratulation, it's for mobilization. #DemandDemocracy. Find an action with your local chapter or here: https://t.co/MrUhsz6adD
In 2018 Floridians voted overwhelmingly to restore voting rights to 1.4 million felons, and last year the Republican legislature kneecapped it with a poll tax. That one act of disenfranchisement could have provided the margin for Trump to win FL. Voter suppression is the story.
We desperately need more of these types of initiatives nation wide. Reinvest in local communities by ending mass incarceration and funding addiction + mental health centers. #USAElections2020#Election2020
I'm very happy to announce that our paper "Revealing the multidimensional mental representations of natural objects underlying human similarity judgements" has now been published in @NatureHumBehav .
