@CrazyVibes_1 She didn’t lose her right to say “no” - she got to keep her seat. She just doesn’t want to be judged by the public. Slander requires there to be lies about what happened, but if people think she sucks because of what she actually did, there’s no lawsuit here.
@HeathrowAirport They really screwed dual citizens on this, especially the accidental dual citizens. Never thinking it through as usual. I hope they’re enjoying the jammed lines at the embassies and passport offices while people try to figure out everything they didn’t consider.
@JDVance It seems like you guys are the ones engineering the chaos by sending untrained militants into cities who keep spazzing out and executing US citizens on camera. I don’t know if you realize that people have access to the internet and can see the videos.
@Truth_Bureau@DHSgov Because they don’t care about press. They don’t care about babies or Americans or our opinions. All they want is control and when they start to lose it they turn to falsehoods and wild accusations.
@StephenM “Routine law enforcement” doesn’t end with American mothers being shot in the face three times. ICE is a danger to the U.S. public and needs to be disbanded. You’re using a lot of words trying to defend these untrained militants who are terrorizing communities across the nation.
@RapidResponse47@POTUS Except he legally can’t as this is a courts issue and would only apply if the fraud preceded the naturalization and was not disclosed. Citizens are prosecuted for fraud in the same way regardless of how they became citizens. He’s blowing smoke.
@rawsalerts Incorrect - they will review citizenship cases but unless the citizenship itself was gained under fraudulent circumstances they have no grounds for revocation. Stop stirring drama.
@RyanAFournier It would make sense to people who are actual Christians, but I get that a lot of Americans are just performative Christians. As an American taxpayer myself, I would much rather see my money go to helping the less fortunate, esp. children, than billionaire tax breaks and bombs.
@GanbaruMI1@BBCNews Not everything has to be COVID. There are many other serious (and often dangerous) viral illnesses - some people just seemed to forget they existed after 2020.
@nicksortor Were they not already praying when this happened? Wouldn’t it be more effective to take direct action to organize and elect political representatives who will actually take a stand against gun violence?
@CaptainChaos550@PeteButtigieg Nobody is ignoring agency - we are just not boiling it down to something so simplistic. You speak about people as if they are rats in cages with no context or external stimuli that influence their available choices. If you set people up for success, agency will follow suit.
@ClemsonUniv Did these faculty members use university resources, or speak on behalf of the university? Because if not, you’re implying here that people only exist as an extension of their employer and can have no thoughts or feelings of their own. Is this really what you intend?
@CaptainChaos550@PeteButtigieg That’s a very simplistic way of thinking considering that individuals are products of their environments and circumstances. People love to say “it’s the individual” because it gets them out of thinking about how to address complex issues in society. It’s lazy.
