392 year old Greenland shark found in the Arctic Ocean.⁣ The age is determined using radiocarbon dating to measure carbon isotopes in the shark's eye tissue. The age of this particular shark was estimated to be 392, which was the midpoint of a range between 272 to 512 years.⁣
